  • Lots of great strands of  glass beads in all colors and sizes. Be sure to check out the new flower and leaf beads with summer projects in mind!
  • Need more bead storage to  go? We have a great new bead tube tower that holds 69 large tubes of  beads and 138 smaller tubes... or a combination of both sizes. This is a neat zippered, folding case that goes with you when you want to travel, bead at a friend's house, or work on a project in the summer sunshine.  All of your tubes are at quick fingertip access, whether it lays flat or stands up.
  • Dapping Blocks for your  metalworking. Make 6 different domed sizes from your metal blanks with  the wooden blocks, and even more in the metal blocks. We have the  dapping punches to go along with them, too. These are a must have for  making dimensional shaped earrings, charms, and pendants.

Wire wrapping is a technique that is a prerequisite for a variety of wire work designs. This class is perfect for beginners who want to master the essential skill of wire wrapping.  In this class you will learn the basics of wire wrapping a stone pendant. Class size is limited.

Torch Safety Class

Have you been interested in taking our metalsmithing classes but did not know how to use or weren't comfortable with a torch?
In this free class you will learn the parts of a small, handheld butane micro torch, how to safely ignite the torch, understand the flame and refill your torch.  You will have the option of purchasing a small amount of silver wire to fuse for a simple ring band. We are offering this free class multiple times during the month of April, just call to reserve your seat.


Mixed Metal Soldered Earrings

Learn simple mixed metal soldering techniques by layering gold filled and copper on silver to create accents. Use these techniques for creating earrings, pendants and bracelets. We will cover the differences of the metals, how to solder multiple solder joins at once, how to finish and polish your work.  Kit includes sheet metal and wire to create two sets of earrings. Create a pair for yourself and a friend, or keep them both for yourself.

Viking Knit

Come join us for an exciting class which teaches you the ancient art of Viking Knit Chain.  You will learn about different gauges of wire, both single and double knit methods, and to use a draw plate.  Numerous tips for endings, clasps, and jump rings will be offered. The instructor will demonstrate how to the incorporate your chain into a bracelet or necklace.


Spinner Ring

Cost $50 plus $30 kit fee
The marriage of silver and gold in a spinner ring.
In this class you will make a sterling silver ring band and then accent with sterling silver and gold filled bands that spin freely around the main band. You will learn about safety, sizing, shaping, soldering, texturing and finishing a ring band and the spinners to make your own one of a kind meditation or fidget ring. All tools needed for the class will be available for you. If you have your favorite tools or hammers, feel free to bring them to class.

Are you interested in learning the basics of bead stringing? We  schedule beginner classes on a regular basis - and also on request - so  you can learn how to put all of your beads in a row....AND make  some earrings to match. These classes are in addition to the Fall  line-up of classes. Call us to find out when the next 101 class will be  scheduled or what other classes we will have each month.

 - No credit for any missed classes or workshops or portion of classes or workshops.
 - No credit after class/workshop begins.
